       TERMS & CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE

The following terms and conditions apply to any undertaking to transport clients booked directly with Pilgrim Pickups Travel or through a third party.
Clients are issued with a booking confirmation upon booking being made stating clearly total costs of travel.
Reservations for your vehicle are only secured after a deposit of a 20% or minimum of £50 deposit per vehicle  (non returnable) has been paid. The company however does not charge for airport parking but customers will be liable to pay for any tolls or bridge fairs where necessary which are not part of total price. Price includes 3 pickups and 3 drop off point/addresses any after this will be charged at £5 per drop.
You the client are responsible for correct travel dates and times given. Special care to be taken when journeys pass through different time zones as all extra trips taken will be charged at full price. All alterations of travel dates or times to be notified by phone, email or in writing by post. Cancellations to be notified as soon as possible fourteen days before travel a £30 cancellation fee will be charged, seven days before travel a full single fare becomes payable.

Luggage
 Pilgrim Pickups travel allocates on the assumption that every customer travelling will have one average medium size suitcase size (69x46x35cm approx) and hand luggage, as every vehicle has a physical limit to the amount it can carry, if you have oversized or any EXTRA luggage kindly inform Pilgrim Pickups this only refers to 5 Passengers or more travelling so arrangements can be made i.e. trailer or larger vehicle allocated for your journey. The clients are responsible that all luggage has been loaded onto the vehicle. Pilgrim Pickups Travel takes every care with your luggage but will not be held responsible for any loss or damage.

Payments
Outstanding balances to be paid by, or in full on, outward journey by cash, or Bank transfer 2 working days before travel. Note: if you the client prefer to pay one way only a single fare will be charged each way (this is more expensive) Cheque payments by agreement only and will need to be cleared 5 banking days before travel for total amount of return fare.

Outward journey
Pilgrim Pickups Travel will undertake to transport clients to their agreed destination to arrive at their checking in point on or before time stated to the best of their ability. All journeys are subject to client to accept the pre-determined departure time as laid down by the company. Please note your pick-up date may be the day before your departure date. Please be advised vehicle/s may turn up to 30 minutes before travel if road or weather conditions change. Pilgrim Pickups Travel will not be held responsible for any holdups as set out below, Acts of God, Acts of war/terrorism or force majeure, traffic delays or any reason beyond the company’s control. Should a vehicle breakdown occur Pilgrim Pickups Travel will ensure you the client have onward travel at no extra charge.

On-board vehicle/s
NO Alcohol or Drugs  is to be consumed or opened on board at any time of travel failing to comply with this may result in you being asked to leave the vehicle you have be warned and it’s in the small print. We respect you the customer so please respect the drivers and vehicles. All vehicles will turn up clean and tidy any excess mess of the vehicle will not be tolerated and may result in a cleaning charge of £25 or a soiling charge of £50.

Emergency
In an emergency whilst abroad please call (+44)(0)1752 773164 or text  (+44)(0)7962210649 or e-mail pilgrimpickupstravel@gmail.com to notify the company as soon as possible so that alternative travel arrangements can be made. All delays of two or more hours please inform the company so that time adjustments can be made for your return journey.
 
Return journey
At airports please contact the driver on the number you have been provided with or have received by text by phone once you have your luggage. Cruise liner passengers will be met at the arrivals area/pick up point or as directed by site authorities but you the client will be contacted by the driver on the number you have provided.
 
Complaints.
In the event of any complaint/claim against the company, Pilgrim Pickups will require the complaint/claim in writing from the customer no later than 5 (five) working days from the alleged incident.
THIS DOCUMENT CONSTITUTES A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU THECLIENT (person named on the invoice) and Pilgrim Pickups travel These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
